1. Account Terms and Access
By creating an account with Wildfired, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
1.1 Account Inactivity Policy
Important: To maintain account security and comply with data protection regulations, Wildfired implements the following inactivity policy:
- 60-Day Inactivity Rule: If you do not log into your account for 60 consecutive days, your account will be automatically deactivated and you will be required to sign up again to regain access.
- Exemptions: This policy does not apply to users with Advertiser or Insurance Provider roles, who maintain active business relationships with the platform.
- Data Retention: Upon account deactivation due to inactivity, your personal data will be anonymized or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Reactivation: To reactivate an inactive account, you must complete the full registration process again, including acceptance of current terms and conditions.
1.2 Session Management
For security purposes, your session will automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. You will receive a warning before automatic sign-out occurs.
2. Wildfire Risk Assessment
The wildfire risk assessment provided by Wildfired is for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional advice. The assessment is based on:
- CAL FIRE Chapter 7A standards
- User-provided information and photographs
- GIS mapping data and fire severity zones
- Firewise community participation data
3. Insurance Matching Service
Wildfired facilitates connections between users and insurance providers but does not provide insurance services directly. All insurance transactions are between you and the insurance provider.
3.1 Payment Terms
- Insurance providers pay a $25 lead fee for access to redacted risk reports
- A $95 bonus fee is charged when users approve full report access
- Monthly royalty payments of 3-5% apply to signed policies
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Wildfired uses anonymized UUID-based authentication to protect user privacy. We do not require email addresses for basic assessments, though they may be provided for insurance matching services.
5. Community Hub Guidelines
The Community Hub is moderated and users must not post:
- Harassment or discriminatory content
- Misinformation about wildfire safety
- Political propaganda unrelated to wildfire safety
- Commercial solicitations outside approved advertising
6. Limitation of Liability
Wildfired, its developers, affiliates, data partners, and licensors disclaim all liability for damages of any kind resulting from your use of the platform, including but not limited to property damage, injury, or loss related to wildfire incidents.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes and may be required to accept updated terms to continue using the service.

Important Notice
By using Wildfired, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including the 60-day inactivity policy. Emergency services should always be contacted in the event of fire.
